Kirk Franklin’s Fo Yo Soul Signs The Walls Group!
Kirk Franklin is no stranger to good music and he’s proving it with his recent signing of the young sensational group out of Houston Texas, The Walls Group. The Walls Group is no stranger to the internet and youtube nation with fans and followers that range from the young to the old.
The group released their first CD entitled “The Walls Group” in 2012 complete with a release party that featured Kim Burrell and Nakita Foxx ripping the mic with ad libs. We’ve enjoyed them and now the world gets a chance to enjoy them. The group will be on tour later in August in cities that include Lexington, KY, Indianapolis, IN, and Austin, TX.
The group consists of siblings: Darrell (20), Rhea(16), Paco(15), and Ahjah(14).
They are the first artists that Franklin has signed to Fo Yo Soul.
“When I first saw a video of The Walls Group, I knew they were something special. I was truly blown away by their vocal abilities at such young ages. And when I flew down to Houston to meet them, I couldn’t believe how down to earth and humble they were. I truly saw something unique in this group and I’m excited to start this new journey with The Walls.”

Kirk Franklin is a busy man. He will head out on the road with Israel Houghton, Donnie McClurkin and Marvin Sapp for The King’s Men Tour. Franklin partnered with Live Nation for this first of its kind gospel mega tour, which kicks off in Phoenix, AZ on September 16th.
