The hosts for the 2013 Stellar Awards ceremony and more! *Updated*
The Stellar Award weekend is the weekend that the gospel industry comes together to honor their own! It is an exciting time and one that any lover of gospel music will find packed with concerts and plenty of “star sighting”.
This year’s awards show will be held on January 19th at the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville Tennessee. Based on what we’ve seen www.thestellarawards.com, the hosts for this year’s event will be the legendary Kirk Franklin and the dynamic female gospel duo Mary Mary! This has been confirmed via the Stellar Awards website!
The 2013 nominees will be announced on October 27th, 2012. Last year there was a press conference to announce the nominees and we hope for the same this year.
Tickets for the show range from $200 to $35 for students with proper ID. SAGMA members can purchase tickets now and the general public may begin purchasing tickets on October 27th. Tickets can be purchased on www.ticketmaster.com.
The host hotel for the weekend is the Gaylord Opryland Resort & Convention Center located at 2800 Opryland Drive – Nashville, TN 37214. Call 888 777-6779 or 615 889-1000 to make your reservations. Make sure you mention the Stellar Awards to get the special rate of $140.00 plus $5.00 Resort fee and applicable taxes. You’ll also need to pay for at least one night at the time you reserve your room.
